Winter Formal is just around the corner! You can buy tickets at the early bird price today. Early bird prices will continue to the original days of Monday and Tuesday the 27th and 28th. The ticket prices are $35 with an ASB sticker and $40 without. Regular prices are $40 with an ASB sticker and $45 without. Regular tickets will be sold on Wednesday the 29th through Friday the 31st leading up to the dance. Also, make sure you have returned any missing library books and you are attendance eligible to go to the dance. Don't miss out on this special deal!
Grad Nite tickets continue to be on sale for $250.00. Space is limited, so buy your ticket early! Bring Payment and signed contract to the ASB/Athletic Office. Cash, credit card, or check accepted. Remember you must be academic, attendance and behavior eligible.
Seniors- Are you planning to attend Cuesta, A Trade School, a four year college or the Military? There Are scholarships available to you on the AHS website under the counselor’s page. By filling out the Local Scholarship Application and asking two people for letters of recommendation, you have a chance to be considered for free money given to students here at AHS! Scholarship money can even be used to buy yourself a laptop. Scholarship money is free money given to students for what they have done or are going to do, not just for grades. Please join us for a few scholarship application workshops during study hall in the library January 22, January 30, and February 5. Link to Scholarship page.
The library will teach Sewing again during study hall January 28th and 30th. Sign up in the library at the circulation desk. Come one day or both.
On Thursday AHS will be recognizing all students who have earned a spot on the superintendents, principal and faculty honor rolls. These top dogs will earn a coupon for a free hotdog at lunch! Great job!
The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art self-portrait competition due date has been extended to January 30th. The county-wide completion offers awards totaling $11,000. Spring Track and field practice will officially begin on Monday February the 3rd on the track. Anyone interested can show up with their blue cards on that date. If you're competing in a winter sport, go win a CIF championship and come down after that. Track is coed and there is an event for everyone, and you'll get in the best shape of your life. if you have questions drop by coach Tomasini's room 2007.
